Responsible for installing, administering and optimizing Windows servers and components and related technologies. o Plan and implement server installations, upgrades, routine maintenance and vendor-supplied patches in accordance with established Information Technology (IT) policies and procedures. o Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation adhering to industry best practices. o Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels. o Define and perform server backups and recovery procedures; participate in development, testing, and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans. o Prioritize and respond to Service Desk tickets as appropriate; provide timely response to escalations in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs). o Manage enterprise directory services and supporting server infrastructure. o Act as a project resource and work with senior team members to assist with the design and review of new server systems, applications and hardware; assist senior team members with architecting the server infrastructure required to support these projects o Coordinate and participate in key process improvements as they relate to the client/server and core infrastructure services environment. o Coordinate and collaborate with other functional areas within IT to ensure availability, reliability and scalability of corporate servers to meet business requirements. o Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties. o Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements Education:
o Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent in relevant work experience; industry standard certifications a plus.
Experience:
o Two years of related experience with current supported technologies required. Four years of related experience with current supported technologies preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics:
o Strong knowledge in one or more of the following technologies:
UNIX/Linux, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange/Office365, PowerShell, VMware ESX /View/NSX, Nutanix Hardware and AOS, MS Azure IAAS. Networking Understanding a plus. Infoblox DHCP/DNS a plus. o Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office. o Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. o Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
