General Supply Specialist, GS-2001-11

The selectee will serve as the Transportation Officer, Personal Property Administrator, Shipping and Receiving/Warehouse Manager, Motor Vehicle Officer and Assistant Physical Security Officer, responsible for development, implementation and documentation of complex procedures and property management for the effective accomplishment of the procurement, transportation, inventory, and warehousing tasks.Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include:
- Monitoring and inspecting all sensitive Automated Information Systems (AIS) hardware and software for the Property Management Program under the FINCEN's cognizance.- Reviewing financial records and prepares reports to verify accuracy of the database, financial obligations, and to ensure Government property is used for its intended purpose.- Assisting the Facility Manager/Physical Security Officer with development, evaluation, and directing the implementation of program requirements. - Serving as the initial point of contact for FINCEN personnel seeking answers on supply property, physical security and transportation management issues. Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 level in the Federal service ORPh.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include providing direction and supervision in the areas of motor vehicle and warehouse management, shipping and receiving, and transportation. Reviewing financial records and preparing reports to verify accuracy of the database. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience):

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
