The Engineering Business Unit provides world class full spectrum engineering services to our Government and Commercial Clients. Some of our Major Clients include; US Navy, US Air Force, US Army, US Coast Guard US Marine Corps, Commerce Department, Department of Energy, State Department, Department of Homeland Security and commercial clients like BAE Systems, Boeing, Northrop Grumman and Rolls Royce. Our core services are; Engineer, Furnish, Install, & Test (EFI&T;) Services; Ship Modernization Services; Information Technology (IT) Services; and Hardware Production and Test (HPT) Services of Audio-Video, Air Traffic Control, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Enterprise Network and Telecommunications, Software Suites, Web and Databases, Security and Access and Shipboard Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Systems. Job Description:
Provide defense acquisition engineering consulting support and participate in technical reviews, conduct engineering analyses systems and sub systems in terms of operability, technical merit, and schedule risk. Review and evaluate production design data and documentation; prepare, test and evaluate Engineering Changes; and conduct analyses of producibility and production operations, processes, and systems in production items. Provide recommendations for the defense acquisition team coordination and risk mitigation strategies associated with production and migration. Advise and recommend strategies for issues including migration, program schedule, and infrastructure upgrades.
Required Skills and
Experience:
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, and at least 10 years relevant experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to an executive or manager. Work is generally performed in a normal office environment where there is minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Job assignments may require working at client site where working conditions may vary. Travel may be required.
