Cath Lab Tech Needed for Cardiac Cath Lab, 13-26 weeks with possible extension
5x8 varying shift times between 7a-7p, rotating weekday and weekend call
Minimally invasive cardiac
Certs Required:
BLS, ACLS; current RCIS, RCVT or RCES; must be a graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program towards obtaining a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist registry; WILL NOT CONSIDER CANDIDATES WITH ARRT
Experience Required:
2 years Cath Lab experience
The position is for 40 hr/wk and usually 8 hours per day. There is no evening shift so some days are longer than 8 hours, but they try and keep the team within 40 hours. However, there will likely be overtime. Regarding call, all members within the Cath area rotate call with a rough estimate of 12 days per month which includes some weekends. Facility expects agency to be willing to cover holiday s; thus, no holiday time off will be approved.
