RN, Flexi -Med Surg/Telemetry - Specialty Pay
Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) on our team-oriented and patient-centered 6West Neuro/Telemetry unit!At Chesapeake Regional Healthcare, 6 West is a 30 bed Neuro/Telemetry department that provides extraordinary, comprehensive care to patients with complex neurological disorders including stroke, TIA, Alzheimer's disease, bells' palsy, epilepsy, and seizures.
As one of the areas only community hospitals, Chesapeake Regional Healthcare services all seven cities of Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina and provides:
Unit-Based Clinical Educator 24/7 Rapid Response/Stroke Team coverage provides support and additional patient care when necessary Comprehensive Stroke Center 24/7 neurosurgery coverage Experienced Neurointerventional Surgical Team Minimum
Qualifications:
Diploma or Associate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required Current Virginia or compact state RN license required Verbal and written communication skills and computer skill required Current BLS certifications required (must be certified through the American Heart Association).
ACLS must be obtained within 120 days of hire Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred NIHSS Certification One (1) year of recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Certified Nurse Practitioner Communication Health Care Nursing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
