Summary:
The Key Operations Specialist will be responsible for the relationship with specialty accounts both with the internal and external customers.
In this role the Key Operations Specialist evaluates the processes to ensure the most efficient and effect way to complete the work on site, assist the supervisor with training the staff and assist with communications across the account.
Might act as a phlebotomist and can step in when supervisor is unavailable.
Will need to communicate effectively to internal and external clients including patients, sales, client service, logistics, senior management, and others.
The Key Operations Specialist must understand all fundamental phlebotomy and COVID 19 procedures and ensure that all collectors are capable of following these procedures.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIESDuties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
Liaison between Specialty Account, Regional Director and Ops Area Manager.
Key point contact to assist supervisor in problem solving and process improvement.
Be a subject matter expert through continued gain of knowledge through specific education, training and on site experience to stay current in the area of expertise Report daily updates to client and leaders inside the organization Actively assist phlebotomy supervisor to recruit, hire, train, motivate, mentor, retain and coach a group of phlebotomists.
Serve as an ongoing resource for these key team members Problem resolution with issues including but not limited to:
phlebotomy and swab collecting staff, specimen tracking, specimen resolution and scheduling adjustments, IT Support, Logistics Divers, Customer Service, POC technician and Supply procurement Reconciliation tracking and quality management Follow regulatory requirements, OSHA, and all departmental and company policies and procedures, including infection control and biohazard waste disposal Follow all compliance procedures and policies Contribute to the overall effectiveness of BioReference Health, LLC.

High School Diploma or GED Bachelor's Degree Preferred EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
