Human Resource Generalist We are looking for a fun, energetic, skilled, forward-thinking person to bring the best talent and passion to our organization.
The Human Resource Generalist will champion and advocate for the team member experience at all stages of the team member's life cycle.
He/she is responsible for hiring the right candidates by creating job posts to recruitment sites, attending job fairs, and face-to-face recruitment opportunities.
In addition to interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding of new employees, the Human Resource Generalist will oversee current employee satisfaction.
They will ensure that the workplace is always running efficiently, effectively and the organization culture is being implemented with each employee.
During the hiring process, the Human Resource Generalist at times will consult with current members of the management team to ensure that the right candidates are being placed into the right position.
Thus, their job duties frequently involve consulting with the appropriate managers.
Human Resource Generalist may develop and maintain the financial activities of the company, that involves but not limited to; business planning, budgeting, auditing, and forecasting.
Duties of the Human Resource Generalist include:
Preparing, creating, or updating employment records related to hiring, training, transferring, promoting, terminating team members and ensure all docs are filed Explaining policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
Addressing any employment relations issues, such as grievances, work complaints and harassment allegations Overseeing hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks Actively Recruit Process Payroll Analyze job duties & Conduct Performance Evaluations Write & update position descriptions Readily available to complete marketing presentations and/or work within the community in various ways Manage and maintain organization schedule Independently plan and organize events, workshops, projects and business meetings Compiles and prepares regular or special reports necessitating the selection of data from various sources Independently Analyzes complex problems, determines approach, compiles, and analyzes data, and prepares reports/recommendations Build policy and procedure to ensure department is highly efficient and effective Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preference:
Experience in HR Requirement:
Candidate must be able to obtain a Notary License, complete the Handle with Care Certified Instructor course, Pass a Background Check and become CPR certified within 60 days of accepting employment agreement.
