Iron Worker
Seeking 2 Iron workers who can start immediately. Prefer local candidates because of the time frame in which you are needed to go to work. Hours will range from anywhere to 40 to 72 hours a week with overtime pay. If you are non-local please give the time and date in which you can be here in Portsmouth to interview. Only candidates with strong work ethics and work history will be considered. Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Responsibilities:
-Driver's License
-At least 5 years experience working with iron
-Familiarity using blow torches, measuring, and cutting metal
-Tools of the trade
-Build and install iron or steel girders, columns, and other construction materials to form buildings, bridges, and other structures
-Cut, position, and bolt down steel bars to reinforce concrete
-Repair older infrastructure
-Make, weld, and cut structural metal in fabricating shops
-Erect steel frames
-Connect steel columns, beams, and girders.
-Drill holes into steel for bolts
-Number steel according to assembly instructions.
--Unload and stack steelEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
